Claim by the Union on behalf of approximately 40 workers for the equalisation of Eurosnax and King Foods rates with Tayto rates.
Recommendation:
In light of the submissions made by the parties, the Court
recommends that the basic rate in King Foods and Eurosnax be
amended to a figure of #132.92 with effect from 1st October, 1987.
The Court further repeats the opinion stated in LCR 10683 that the
establishment of uniform rates and conditions of employment will
only be achieved by co-ordinated negotiation between all the
parties concerned and does not therefore recommend concession of
any claim based on this aspiration in the present circumstances.

Background:
With reference to the Court's investigation into the matter, on
29th October, 1987, the following is the Court's recommendation -
RECOMMENDATION:
In light of the submissions made by the parties, the Court
recommends that the basic rate in King Foods and Eurosnax be
amended to a figure of #132.92 with effect from 1st October, 1987.
