Labour Court Database __________________________________________________________________________________ File Number: CD88703 Case Number: LCR12034 Section / Act: S67 Parties: WYETH (IRELAND) LIMITED - and - IRISH TRANSPORT AND GENERAL WORKERS' UNION |
Claim by the Union on behalf of approximately 150 workers concerning:- (a) Redundancy compensation, (b) Compensation for loss of shift, (c) Compensation for accepting changes, (d) Payment of a fork lift rate.
Recommendation:
2. The Court finds that there is not sufficient justification in
the changes being introduced by the Company to warrant a specific
pay increase of general application during the currency of the
present pay round.
The Court considers that the Company's offer on the other items is
fair and reasonable. Subject to the inclusion of four other
workers involved in the claim for payment for forklift driving,
the Court recommends that the offer be accepted.
