Claim by the Unions for the implementation of the terms of the Programme for National Recovery (P.N.R.).
Recommendation:
3. Having carefully considered the submissions made by the
parties and noting the trading position of the Company, the Court
recommends that management should offer and the Unions accept an
adjustment of the wages of the claimants by the amount of the
first phase of the P.N.R. with effect from 1st January, 1989.
The Court further recommends that both sides should negotiate a
settlement on the outstanding issues relating to efficiency and
that the second phase of the P.N.R. should apply from the date of
agreement on these matters.

dispute, the following in the Court's Recommendation.
