Recommendation:
3. Having considered the submissions made by the parties, the
Court is of the opinion that further discussions should take place
between the parties with a view to reaching agreement on draft
proposals for the integration of nursing staff. In the event of
such agreement not being reached by 30th April next the Court will
be prepared to resume its hearing in the light of the developments
at these discussions.

PSYCHIATRIC NURSES ASSOCIATION
SUBJECT:
1. Integration of nursing staff at St. Joseph's Psychiatric
Hospital, Limerick and Unit 5B Doonadoyle.
BACKGROUND:
2. This case was heard at a conciliation conference of the Labour
Court on 15th November, 1988 and 30th January, 1989. As no
agreement was reach both parties agreed to refer the matter to the
Labour Court for investigation and recommendation. The
investigation into the dispute was held to day 16th March, 1989.
RECOMMENDATION:
3. Having considered the submissions made by the parties, the
Court is of the opinion that further discussions should take place
between the parties with a view to reaching agreement on draft
proposals for the integration of nursing staff. In the event of
such agreement not being reached by 30th April next the Court will
be prepared to resume its hearing in the light of the developments
