Recommendation:
2. The following is the text of a letter dated 22nd January,
1991 issued to both parties.
The Court is satisfied that the first notification the
claimants had that marital status was included as a factor in
selecting who was re-called from the field was the letter from
management dated 12th July, 1990.
The Court accordingly considers that reasonable cause has
been shown as required by Section 19(5) of the Employment Equality
Act, 1977 and refers the dispute for investigation by an Equality
Officer.
