Labour Court investigation on 5th June, 1991 under Section 19(5) of Employment Equality Act.
Recommendation:
2. The following is the text of letter dated 20th June, 1991
issued to both parties.
Having considered the submissions made by the parties, the Court
considers that in terms of Section 19(5) of the Act reasonable
cause has been shown in respect of the discrimination alleged to
have incurred from the 1990 selection procedures. Accordingly the
Court will refer this issue to an Equality Officer.
The Court does not consider that reasonable cause was established
in respect of the other 1988 selection procedures as the Court
considers that the claimant had opportunity to pursue this at an
earlier time.
