Recommendation:
2. The following is the text of a letter dated 8th May, 1991
issued to both parties.
Having considered the submissions made by the parties the Court is
satisfied that whilst the first occurrence of the alleged
discriminatory act was in January, 1990 the claimant initiated
proceedings within six months of the date on which she was first
made aware of the grounds under which she was not selected for the
position in question. The Court therefore holds that reasonable
cause as to why the reference was delayed, has been shown.
