of the person it is alleged the Department is discriminating in
favour of, as this was one of the issues raised at the hearing.
Having considered all the information available to the Court, the
Court is of the view that reasonable cause has not been shown by
the complainants for the delay in lodging their complaint.
The Court, therefore, finds that the complainants have not
complied with Section 19(5) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977.

BACKGROUND:
2. The Court investigated the above matter on the 5th December,
1994 under Section 19(5) of the Employment
Equality Act, 1977.
DECISION:
The Court considered the written and oral submissions made by both
parties.
In addition, the Court sought and received the attendance record
of the person it is alleged the Department is discriminating in
favour of, as this was one of the issues raised at the hearing.
Having considered all the information available to the Court, the
Court is of the view that reasonable cause has not been shown by
the complainants for the delay in lodging their complaint.
The Court, therefore, finds that the complainants have not
complied with Section 19(5) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977.
