BACKGROUND:
2. The Court investigated the above dispute on 29th April, 1996.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Court has been asked by both parties to issue a recommendation on this dispute.
The Court, having considered the written and oral submissions made by all the parties involved in the issue, makes the following recommendation.
That all workers who were members of the Trinity College Pension Scheme and who were in the A1 PRSI category prior to 6th April, 1995, shall continue to have their occupational pension benefits in accordance with the rules of the Pension Scheme prior to the amendment on the 4th August, 1994 which provided for co-ordination. Workers whose pensionable employment with the College commenced on or after 6th April, 1995 should have their occupational pension co-ordinated with the State Pension in accordance with the rules of the College Pension Scheme as amended on the 4th August, 1994.
