Six female employees
V
Dunnes Stores
This dispute concerns a claim by MANDATE, on behalf of six female employees who are employed by Dunnes Stores, that they are entitled to the same rate of remuneration as that paid to seven named male comparators in terms of Section 3(c) of the Anti-Discrimination (Pay) Act, 1974. The claim was originally submitted under Sections 3(a) and 3(c) of the 1974 Act but the Union withdrew the referral under Section 3(a) by letter dated 10/11/97. The original claim listed seven claimants and thirteen comparators, but the Union, in its submission, withdrew one claimant and six comparators. Details of the remaining claimants and comparators are listed in Appendix A.
