This dispute concerns a claim by Dr. Josephine Browne that, on 3rd April, 1996, the Dublin Institute of Technology discriminated against her within the meaning of Section 2(a), Section 2(c) and Section 2(d) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 and in contravention of Section 3 of that Act when it did not shortlist her for interview for the position of Director, Faculty of Business.
