This dispute concerns a claim by Dr. Josephine Browne that, in October, 1995, the Dublin Institute of
Technology discriminated against her within the meaning of Section 2(a) and Section 2(c) of the Employment
Equality Act, 1977 and in contravention of Section 3 of that Act when it failed to consider her for the position
of Local Strategic Research Development Assistant Manager for Cathal Brugha Street.
