BACKGROUND:
2. The Labour Court investigated the above matter on the 4th September, 1998. The following is the Court's decision.
DECISION:
The Court has carefully evaluated the submissions of the parties and has concluded that, in the circumstances of this case, reasonable cause has been shown as to why the dispute was not referred within the time specified by Section 19(5) of the Act.
Accordingly, the Court directs that the dispute be referred to an Equality Officer for investigation and recommendation.
