1. Complaint that the Rights Commissioner's Decision WT198/98/JH has not been implemented.
BACKGROUND:
2. A Labour Court hearing took place on the 1st of March, 1999.
DETERMINATION:
A complaint having been received under Section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, by the Amalgamated Transport and General Workers' Union on behalf of Ms. Pauline McCrave, 4 Riverside Crescent, Dundalk, County Louth that her Employer Mr. Desmond O'Callaghan, Londis, Avenue Road, Dundalk, County Louth failed to implement a decision of a Rights Commissioner No.WT198/98/JH, dated 22nd October, 1998 and the said decision not
having been carried out by the Employer, and no appeal having been brought against the said decision, the Court hereby affirms the decision of the Rights Commissioner and determines that the Employee shall be paid £130 net compensation by the Employer in respect of her claim under the Holiday Employees Act.
The Court so determines.
