The claimant alleges that she was discriminated against by Thurles Golf Club in terms of section 2(a) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 and contrary to the provisions of section 3 of the Act in the selection for promotion to the position of Bar Manager. The claimant also alleges that she was victimised within the meaning of section 2(d) of the Employment Equality Act, 1977 for having contacted the Equality Authority and for having referred claims under the Equality Legislation.
