This dispute involves a claim by Ms. Roberts that she was discriminated against by her employer, Dunlaoghaire/Rathdown County Council, on grounds of gender, within the meaning of section 6(2)(a) of the Employment Equality Act, 1998 and in contravention of sections 6(1), 8(1), 8(6) and 22 of that Act when she was not granted secondment to Wicklow County Council having secured a position with that local authority on a temporary basis from August, 2000 to May, 2003.
