The complainant alleges that she is entitled to equal pay with the named male comparator. Both the complainant and the named male comparator are in receipt of service pay which is calculated on the basis of the number of hours normally worked each week. The complainant is employed with the respondent organisation on a part-time basis whereas the named male comparator is full-time. It is the complainant's contention that she is entitled to the same amount of service pay as that which is paid to the named male comparator and the respondent's failure in this regard amounts to discrimination.
