1. Alleged non-implementation of a Rights Commissioner's Decision r-059062-mw-07/EH
BACKGROUND:
2. The Worker referred her case to the Labour Court on the 9th June, 2008, in accordance with Section 31(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act, 2000.
The following is the Court's Determination:
DETERMINATION:
A complaint having been received under Section 31(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act, 2000 (the Act) from Beata Koza, of 18, The Paddocks, Naas, Co. Kildare (complainant) that Geeta Limited, T/A Bollywood Spices, of 20 Sundale Villas, Mountain View, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (employer) failed to implement a decision of a Rights Commissioner, no. r-059062-mw-07/EH, dated 14th April, 2008.
As the said employer has not been carried out by the employer and no appeal has been brought against the said decision within the time limit for such an appeal, the Court hereby determines that, in accordance with the decision of the Rights Commissioner, the said employer pay to the complainant the sum of €14,713.00 awarded in respect of breaches of the Act.
