Determination:
There was no appearance or representation for the respondent. The Tribunal is satisfied that proper notification was sent to the respondent. The Tribunal heard the uncontested evidence from the appellant.
Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal accepts that a redundancy situation existed. The Tribunal finds that the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:

Date Employment Ended 26th September 2008
Gross Weekly Wages €653.46
Note; Non-reckonable service is nil.
The Tribunal note that the respondent is in liquidation.
This award is subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005 succeeds and the appellant is awarded €1,306.92, this being two weeks gross pay as compensation in lieu of notice.
