The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
The respondent conceded that a redundancy situation existed. The Tribunal awards the appellant a redundancy lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following information:
Date of Birth: 8th July 1979
Date of Commencement: 15th March 2003
Date of Termination: 22nd February 2008
Gross Weekly Pay: €545.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The Tribunal dismisses the appeals under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005, and the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 as the appellant conceded that he had received his statutory period of notice and had no outstanding holiday allocation.
