1. Appeal under Section 77(12) of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2008.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Complainant referred her case to the Labour Court on the 6th January, 2010, in accordance with Section 77(12) of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2004. A Labour Court hearing took place on the 1st September, 2010. The following is the Court's determination:
DETERMINATION:
This matter came before the Court by way of an appeal by the Complainant against a decision of the Equality Tribunal to strike out her claim pursuant to s. 102 of the Employment Equality Acts 1998 - 2008.
The Complainant did not appear before the Court at the hearing of the appeal. Accordingly, the appeal is struck out.
