1. Complaint that a Decision of a Rights Commissioner has not been complied with by the Employer r-079060-mw-09.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Worker referred his case to the Labour Court on the 21st September, 2011, in accordance with Section 31(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act, 2000.
DETERMINATION:
A complaint having been received under Section 31(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act 2000 by Sajjad Basat, c/o MRCI, 55 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1, that his former employer Sajid Javid t/a Spice Lagoon Kashmir, failed to implement a Decision of a Rights Commissioner r-079060-mw-09,
And the said Decision not having been carried out by the Employer,
And no appeal having been brought against the said Decision within the time limit for such appeal,
The Court hereby determines that the said Employer pay to the said Employee
€17,886.40 in accordance with the Decision of the Rights Commissioner.
