1. Complaint that a Rights Commissioner’s Decision R-051543-MW-07/JT has not been implemented.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Worker referred his case for implementation of a Rights Commissioner's decision to the Labour Court on the 6th July 2011, in accordance with Section 31(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act, 2000. The following is the Determination of the Court:
DETERMINATION:
A complaint having been received under Section 31(1) of the Minimum Wage Act, 2000 by Dmitrijs Barisikovs, c/o Richard Grogan and Associates Solicitors, 16-17 College Green, Dublin 2, that his former employer Coopers Marquees Ltd, Toad Hall, Mullagh, Kells, Co Meath failed to implement a decision of a Rights Commissioner R-051543-MW-07/JT,
And the said decision not having been carried out by the employer, and no appeal having beein brought against the said decision within the time limit for such appeal,
The Court hereby determines that the said employer pay to the said employee €1,926. 60 in accordance with the decision of the Rights Commissioner.
