1. Appeal under Section 83 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 to 2011.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Employer and the Worker appealed the Decision of the Equality Officer to the Labour Court on the 27th June and 2nd July, 2013 respectively. A Labour Court hearing took place on the 14th November, 2013. The following is the Court's Determination:-
DETERMINATION:
This matter came before the Court by way of an appeal by Bank of Ireland Private Banking Limited and a cross appeal by Grainne Campbell against a Decision of the Equality Tribunal bearing reference number DEC-E2013-046. The Decision relates to Ms Campbell's claims of discrimination on grounds of gender and disability contrary to the Employment Equality Acts 1998-2011.
When the matter came on for hearing on 14th November 2013 the Court was informed that the parties had reached agreement and that the appeal and the cross appeal could be struck out. The terms of the agreement reached provided that the Decision of the Equality Tribunal could be vacated on consent.
The within appeals are struck out and the Decision of the Equality Tribunal to which they relate is vacated on consent.
