Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that the claimant was properly on notice of the Hearing. However she neither attended the Hearing nor contacted the Tribunal to explain her absence.
The respondent’s representative made an application to have the claim struck out but owing to the particular circumstances of the case he requested that the Order be stayed for a week to enable the claimant, if she wished to pursue her claim, make an application to the Tribunal to have her claim relisted.
The claimant did not apply to have her claim relisted. The claim under the Unfair Dismissals Acts 1977 to 2007 is struck out.
