Background:
The appellant gave evidence that his employment ended by reason of redundancy. When he last worked for the respondent on 22 December 2011, he was not informed of a lay-off period. He received no further work after that date.
Determination:
Based on the appellant’s uncontested evidence the Tribunal finds that he is entitled to a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following criteria:

Date of Termination: 22 December 2011
Gross Weekly Pay: €125.30
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
