1. Appeal of Rights Commissioner's Decision R-102486-FT-10/MMG.
BACKGROUND:
2. The Worker appealed the Rights Commissioner's Decision to the Labour Court on the 31st July, 2012. A Labour Court hearing took place on the 14th February, 2013. The following is the Determination of the Court:
DETERMINATION:
This matter came before the Court by way of an appeal by Mr Paul Flynn against the decision of a Rights Commissioner under the Protection of Employees (Fixed-Term Work) Act 2003. The Court was informed that the dispute giving rise to the appeal was resolved between the parties on terms different to those provided for in the decision of the Rights Commissioner.
On the consent of both parties the Court determines that the decision of the Rights Commissioner be set aside without any further order.
