1. Appeal of Disciplinary Sanctions up to and including dismissal.
BACKGROUND:
2. On the 27th November, 2012 the Worker referred the issue to the Labour Court, in accordance with Section 20(1) of the Industrial Relations Act, 1969.
A Labour Court hearing took place on the 21st February, 2013..
The Worker agreed to be bound by the Court’s Recommendation.
RECOMMENDATION:
This dispute came before the Court by way of a complaint by the Worker under Section 20(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1969.
The Worker failed to attend the hearing and present his case. In these circumstances the case was struck out.
