The claims under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts 1973 to 2005 and the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 were withdrawn by the claimant’s representative during the course of the hearing.
Determination
The respondent having conceded liability in this regard, the Tribunal finds that the appellant is entitled to a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of Birth: 4 September 1969
Date of commencement of employment: 15 April 1996
Date of termination of employment: 23 May 2012
Non-reckonable service by reason of lay-off: 6 February 2012 to 23 May 2012
Gross weekly pay: €578.61
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
