Respondent(s) : In person
The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
The claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 was withdrawn at the outset of the hearing. The claimant indicated that two weeks minimum notice was received and four weeks was outstanding. The respondent accepted that two weeks had in fact been paid.
After hearing evidence from both parties, the Tribunal awards the appellant his statutory entitlement of €1,023.36, being the sum due for four weeks’ notice, under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
