The claim under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007 was withdrawn at the outset.
Determination
The Tribunal are satisfied that the respondent was properly on notice of this hearing. Based on the uncontested evidence of the claimant the Tribunal find that the claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 succeeds awards the appellant a redundancy lump sum payment based on the following;
Date of Birth: 25th February 1977
Date of Commencement: 22nd October 2007
Date of Termination: 31st of July 2011
Gross Weekly Pay: € 600.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The claimant received his minimum notice entitlement, therefore the claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1953 to 2005 is dismissed.
