Background:

The claimant failed to appear for an earlier hearing date on 1^st August 2013 and the registered post regarding the notice of hearing had been returned to the Tribunal.

When contacted by telephone on that date the claimant sought to amend the address provided on the T1A form. The matter was subsequently relisted for 24^th October 2013 but neither the claimant nor a representative on his behalf attended the hearing.

Determination

The Tribunal is satisfied that notification of the hearing was delivered to the amended address provided by the claimant on 1^st August 2013. Neither the claimant nor a representative on his behalf attended the hearing. Accordingly, the Tribunal dismisses the claim for want of prosecution.
