Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that the parties were properly on notice of the hearing. Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal finds that he was dismissed by reason of redundancy. Accordingly the Tribunal awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information.
Date of Birth: 12 June 1947
Date of commencement of employment: 28 September 1997
Date of termination of employment: 2 March 2012
Gross weekly pay: €461.12
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
As no evidence was proffered in relation to the claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts 1973 to 2005 this claim fails.
