The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
The Tribunal is satisfied based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant that he was dismissed by reason of redundancy. Accordingly the Tribunal awards him a redundancy lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of birth: 27th November 1980
Date of commencement: 15th July 2007
Date of termination: 12th February 2012
Gross weekly pay: €346
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005 is allowed and the appellant is awarded the sum of €692 being 2 weeks gross pay.
