The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The appellant claimed that her employment, which commenced on 21 June 2008, ended by reason of redundancy on 27 May 2011. Her gross weekly pay was €200.00 (for twenty hours at €10.00 per hour).
A hearing notice was sent to the respondent but no evidence was offered by or on behalf of the respondent at the hearing.
Determination:
Under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, the Tribunal finds that the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum based on the following details:
Date of birth: 03 May 1985
Date of commencement: 21 June 2008
Date of termination: 27 May 2011
Gross weekly pay: €200.00 (based on twenty hours at €10.00 per hour)
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
