Determination:
In circumstances where the appellant has shown that a delay was caused by the agent of his employer such that his application to the Tribunal was made after 12 months from the date of redundancy but before the 104 week period allowable under the Acts where reasonable cause/ extenuating circumstances, the Tribunal will extend the time for application.
Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant, the Tribunal finds that he is entitled to a redundancy lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following criteria:
Date of Commencement: 01 March 2005
Date of Termination: 31 October 2010
Gross Weekly Wage: €416.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
