The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The Tribunal heard evidence from the claimant concerning the circumstances surrounding the termination of her employment. This evidence was not contested as per a letter to the Tribunal from the respondent’s representative. The Tribunal is satisfied on the basis of the appellant’s evidence that she was dismissed by reason of redundancy and accordingly awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of Birth: 24 March 1956
Date of commencement of employment: 28 March 2003
Date of termination of employment: 09 August 2011
Gross weekly pay: €348.50
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
