Determination
Having heard the submissions from both parties the Tribunal is satisfied that the appellant had the requisite 104 weeks continuous service to bring a claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts. The Tribunal is satisfied after hearing the evidence from both parties that the appellant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and accordingly awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of commencement of employment: 15 November 2010
Date of termination of employment: 14 November 2012
Gross weekly pay: €300.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
