The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
The Tribunal noted that there was no appearance on behalf of the respondent.
Based on the uncontested evidence, the Tribunal finds that a Redundancy situation existed and that the appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, based on the following information:

Date of commencement: 15th October 2007
Date of termination: 6th January 2012
Gross weekly pay: €353.24
Amount of redundancy: €3,341.65
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
The appeal under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005 is allowed and the appellant is awarded the sum of €706.48 being 2 weeks gross pay.
