The determination of the Tribunal was as follows:

Determination:

The Tribunal are satisfied that the respondent was properly notified of the time, date and location of the hearing. Neither they nor a representative on their behalf were present of the day of the hearing.

The claimant was employed by the respondent from the 3^rd May 2011 until her dismissal on the 14^th January 2013. As this is the case the claimant does not have the required sufficient service to take a claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 and therefore her claim is dismissed.

However, loss having been established the Tribunal awards the sum of €151.38, this being one weeks’ gross wages, under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
