- Respondent
under

I certify that the Tribunal
(Division of Tribunal)
Chairman: Ms. E. Kearney BL
Members: Mr. J. Horan
Ms. S. Kelly
heard this appeal at Clonmel on 14th October 2014
Representation:
Claimant: In Person
Respondent: Not Present or Represented
The determination of the Tribunal was as follows:
Determination:
The Tribunal are satisfied that the respondent was properly notified of the time, date and location of the hearing. Neither they nor a representative on their behalf were present of the day of the hearing.
The claimant was employed by the respondent from the 3rd May 2011 until her dismissal on the 14th January 2013. As this is the case the claimant does not have the required sufficient service to take a claim under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 and therefore her claim is dismissed.
However, loss having been established the Tribunal awards the sum of €151.38, this being one weeks’ gross wages, under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
