The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
The first appellant claimed that her employment, which commenced on 13 January 2008, ended by reason of redundancy on 21 April 2013. Her gross weekly pay was €236.00 for some twenty-fours per week.
A claim was also made under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, in respect of one week’s holidays outstanding at the time of termination of employment with the respondent.
The second appellant claimed that her employment, which commenced on 29 January 2004, ended without notice by reason of redundancy on 21 April 2013. Her gross weekly pay was €236.00 for some twenty-fours per week.
A claim was also made under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, in respect of one week’s holidays outstanding at the time of termination of employment with the respondent.
The third appellant claimed that his employment, which commenced on 29 January 2004, ended without notice by reason of redundancy on 21 April 2013. His gross weekly pay was €236.00 for some twenty-fours per week.
No respondent evidence was offered to dispute the appellants’ claims.
Determination:
Under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007, the Tribunal finds that the first appellant is entitled to a redundancy lump sum based on the following details:

Date of commencement: 13 January 2008
Date of termination: 21 April 2013
Gross weekly pay: €236.00
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
In addition, the Tribunal awards the appellant the sum of €236.00 (this amount being equivalent to one week’s holidays) under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997, in respect of holidays outstanding at the time of termination of her employment with the respondent.
