Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that both parties were properly notified of the hearing. Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal is satisfied that she was dismissed by reason of redundancy. Accordingly the Tribunal finds that she is entitled to a redundancy payment based on the following criteria:
Date of Birth:
Service from: 15 September 2010 to 2 March 2013
Normal weekly remuneration: €606.30
Amount of redundancy payment: €3564.00
The Tribunal also awards the appellant €1212.60 compensation (this being the equivalent of two weeks pay) under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
A weekly ceiling of €600 applies to any payments from the Social Insurance Fund and this award is subject to the appellant having been in employment which is insurable for all purposes under the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005.
