The claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts 1973 to 2005 was withdrawn by the appellant’s representative at the commencement of the hearing.
Determination
The Tribunal is satisfied that the parties were properly notified of the hearing. The Tribunal is satisfied based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant that he was dismissed by reason of redundancy. Accordingly the Tribunal awards the appellant a lump sum payment under the Redundancy payments Acts 1967 to 2007 based on the following information:
Date of Birth: 6 February 1975
Service from: 16 August 2004 to 20 June 2011
Normal weekly remuneration: €446.55
Non-reckonable service: 18 April 2011 to 20 June 2011
This award is made subject to the appellant having been in insurable employment under the Social Welfare Acts during the relevant period.
