The claim under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts 1973 to 2005 was withdrawn by the claimant’s representative during the course of the hearing.
Determination
The respondent conceded that the claimant was unfairly dismissed. Both parties opted for compensation as being the most appropriate remedy. In those circumstances the Tribunal finds that compensation is the most appropriate remedy and awards the claimant the sum of €80,000.00 under the Unfair Dismissals Acts 1977 to 2007.
