At the outset of the hearing the appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 was withdrawn.
The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:-
Determination
There was no appearance by or on behalf of the respondent and the Tribunal is satisfied that the respondent was duly notified of the hearing.
Based on the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal awards the appellant €2,160.00 being equivalent of four weeks pay under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
