Determination
The appellant ceased to be employed by the respondent on 22nd July 2010 and lodged her appeal under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 with the Tribunal on 11th February 2013. The Acts, require that an appeal must be lodged within 12 months of termination of employment and that this time limit may be extended to 24 months where there were reasonable circumstances preventing the appellant lodging such an appeal. However this appeal was lodged beyond even the 24 month limit and therefore the Tribunal must decline jurisdiction to hear this appeal.
