The decision of the Tribunal was as follows:
Having heard and considered the outline of this case the Tribunal finds in favour of the appellant under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005. Accordingly, he is awarded the sum of €924.00 under those Acts, that sum being the equivalent of 4 weeks’ pay in lieu of notice.
An appeal under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 is currently under consideration in another forum. The appeal herein stands adjourned by the Tribunal but is subject to being dismissed by it in the event of all matters on appeal under that Act being adjudicated on by in that forum.
