1. Complaint that the Rights Commissioner's Decision has not been complied with or fully complied with by the Employer r-129522-mw-13/JW.
BACKGROUND:
2. The worker referred his case to the Labour Court on the 7th March 2014 in accordance with Section 31(1) of the National Minimum Wage Act, 2000. The following is the Court's Determination:
DETERMINATION:
A complaint having been received under Section 31 (1) of the National Minimum Wage Act 200 by Juris Lieknins, Apartment 2, 29 St Lawrence Road, Dublin 3, that his former employer, Pauline Gibson, 20 Fortfield Road, Terenure, Dublin 6W and John Farrell c/o SR Frango Limited, 77 Lower Camden Street, t/a Camden Hall Hostel, failed to implement a decision of a Rights Commissioner R-129522-MW-13/JW.
And the said decision not having been carried out by the employer, and no appeal having been brought against the said decision within the time limit for such appeal.
The Court hereby determines that the said employer pay to the said employee €6,196.98 in respect of arrears of wages and €1,500 in respect of expenses, in accordance with the Decision of the Rights Commissioner.
