Appellant’s case:

The appellant commenced employment with the respondent on 19^th October 2007 and was made redundant on 12^th September 2012 when the business closed down. The appellant did not receive a redundancy lump sum.

Determination:

Having heard the uncontested evidence of the appellant the Tribunal is satisfied that he was dismissed by way of redundancy and awards him a redundancy lump sum in accordance with the following criteria.

DOB:

Commenced employment: 19/10/07

Termination date: 12/09/12

Gross weekly pay: €346

This award is made subject to the claimant having been in insurable employment, during the relevant period, in accordance with the Social Welfare Acts.
