Determination:
At the outset the appellant withdrew his claims under the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 to 2007 and Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 together with the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Acts, 1973 to 2005.
It was common case that the appellant commenced employment with the respondent on 31st August 2009 and that he was made redundant on 20th November 2012 having been on Temporary lay-off since 3rd February 2012. At the date of lay-off the appellant was earning €450.00 per week.
Having considered the evidence adduced at the hearing the Tribunal awards the appellant a lump sum redundancy payment under the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 2007 based on the following criteria.
